Birthday and Wishes!

Haven't blogged for so long, why?

Sort of lost my train of inspiration for a moment, and been pretty busy cause of work and my birthday :)

Celebrated on Thursday with Chai and Sook Yeen, just went to Albion for a drinking session. Not much of a drinker I am, of course, haha. Anyway, thank you Sook Yeen for the cocktail =)

Saturday was the bigger day, dinner at Zang Toi cafe. As usual, Malaysian timing and some were late, though no worries, it was all still well.

I totally love my presents! I got a Starbucks flask from Bernard.. as well as the latest Maybelline mascara that I wanted to buy LOL.
I also love the hairband my girlfriends Wai Queen, Ying Ying and Yik Mun got me.. Another one for the collection! Hmm I reckon I should take pictures of my presents and post it here, probably in the next post together with my birthday pictures :D
Chai's present was great too, I initially thought it was just an empty photo frame haha but when I removed the bubble wrap it was actually like a collage of pictures of me! That totally changes everything, making the present a great memorable one ;)
Nadia got me a great one too, lotion and perfume from the Body Shop, Cherry Blossom! Thank you <3

Damn, boy was Zouk packed that Saturday. Yep we headed there after going to Changkat for a drink, lol. Mind you, I was good this year can. Unlike the drunked me in the video a handful of you managed to watch taken during my birthday last year, I was totally sober this time alright. Just two beers, good music, and great company =)

Now, it's two weeks left before it's all over, boy, I can't imagine how fast time flew. After that I've gotta fly back to Perthie.. whee, or maybe not whee.

Rather half-hearted but I have to go anyway...

1. I want a job in Australia that will pay 20 dollars on weekdays, and 23 on weekends! With flexible shifts and maximum hours! Huahuahua!

2. I want a Mini Cooper! Hahahahahahahaha! Coming soon weh I hope :P


3. I want to meet my Prince who will love me unconditionally and romantically, accept me as who I am and not be ashamed to admit how much he cares for me. He shall not lie to me and be truthful and respectful of me and our relationship all the time!
(Extra request [haha too much weh] - good looking, on the metrosexual side, yet a bit of geeky looking is cute too, taller, loves music, loves me, loves God, loves photography, outgoing, more to be added :p)

4. I want to travel to Europe, Japan, the rest of Australia - Melbourne & Sydney & Gold Coast, United States of course!

5. Study well and getting good results, no doubt.

(Maybe I should change this list to "What I want to achieve before 30" lol)

My birthday lasted longer than 24 hours, cause my friends from the northern hemisphere wished me like, on the 5th of Feb malaysian time! I'm not complaining hey! Just pure happiness :D

Well, the last blog entry as of age 21.
Heck, after this I'll be 22! Hah.

Work, do I even want to talk about work anymore? Kinda sick of it =(
Hope my employers don't read this. Haha. Well, only 3 weeks left. Damn freaking fast, after that gotta chao back to OZ. Haven't spent enough time in Malaysia, I don't want to go home (to Perth lah)!

With my weekends filled the last few weeks, I hardly have time for myself, like seriously.

I planned to blog about singapore, but I'll leave that for later I guess?

In short, it was great. When I reached, I didn't regret going, unlike my previous blog where I said I don't look forward to sg. But it was fun really. The only time I started feeling bad was when I was feeling tired. Haha.

Met up with May, Jody, Pam. Of course, thank you Pam for letting me crash at your place for 2 nights.

Hi everyone!
I'm back from the lion city, and fml I need to get up at 530 for work tomorrow!

A thought just occured in my worked-up brain just as I'm about to sleep.
I know I should be excited about going to Singapore tomorrow, but I'm really tired.
It's like, I don't even have time for myself. Heck since last Monday I don't even get to sleep in late.
And its obvious I can't sleep in tomorrow cause I gotta catch my flight.

Sunday doesn't count cause it's not in the comfort of my own room..
Sigh.

Sounds like a mood spoiler but sometimes I don't feel like going cause I'm just so exhausted. really, I am.

At work, nowadays I hardly have any free time cause its work's always coming in.

My desk is like a junkyard now, with the files and paperwork piling. Already my desk is so freaking small and they expect me to live like how the permanent hires live. Geez.

I hate to say this, but to some extent I hate to wake up for tomorrow.

Anyways, Justin even invited me to go Zouk tonight but unfortunately I need my beauty sleep so yeah. I didn't go. Otherwise I could've gone and just be a zombie at SG tomorrow.

On another note:


My birthday is next Thursday, I still got no idea what to do on the day itself yet. Anyone planning something for me? Haha. Surprise me.

I hope so.. Or should I just let it pass like any other day. After all, it is just another day; The day I was born 22 years ago.

Super duper exhausted can! It drains out my inspiration to write anything at all.
Anyways, I really hate papercuts and I have like gazillion cuts all over my hands, my small hands seems so dry lately :(

Perhaps the weather has something to do with it, it feels really hot hey, with the heat waves and stuff.
I remember in PD the moment I stepped out of the hotel room, like, whoa, so hot sial.

The whole week has been busy busy busy.
Oh yeah my friend from Perth who's actually from Brunei, Rudy came over to KL this week and I met up with him yesterday; ie Wednesday. Cause I seem to be losing track of time lately. I told Ru Jiun at work today "Eh, tomorrow's thursday! can't wait" and she was like "today's already thursday lahhh." LOL.

Anyway, Rudy was really excited cause KL drinks were cheap to him and Brunei don't serve alcohol haha.

Met up wit him at Picollo Mondo, no idea how many "C"s or "O"s are there in Piccollo Mondo so I don't care how the spelling varies, don't mind me. Ate at Madam Kwan's in Pavilion, and we headed to the rooftop bar/club at Lot 10.

The club people didn't bother serving us haha. Rootz, it is. Anyway we chilled at Teeq, the bar next to Rootz.
It was rather interesting, rooftop concept and stuff. Refreshing, in a way. My cocktail really sucked though, it was a watermelon vodka thing which tasted more like just watermelon with hardly any vodka.

Talked, crapped, laughed, camwhored and whatsoever. Asked Rootz about their prices and whether they have promo's on birthdays but nah, they don't.

At 12am we walked back to Pavilion which was closed 'cept for the Al Fresco dining area.. and eventually we bid our goodbyes and left. Looks like I'll meet him back in Perth!

Work was hectic today, did I mention?

Had breakfast with Sasha and Ru Jiun at some mamak, more like just a chitchatting session.
After that, had to do work, work, work, rush rush rush before noon deadline and what craps lah.

Needed to take a cab to IRB at Jln Duta for verifying passport stuff.. wth I was lost when I went there haha. When I finally reached the counter there were problems but not my fault it was IRB's problem so my manager asked me to go back to the office and get it certified by the commissioner, URGENTLY.

Reached office, had lunch, spent close to an hour or maybe more than that at the Commissioners' and then had to deliver the passports back to the client. Btw, the commissioner damn happy everytime he sees me cause I always bring him money swt. verify passport till 2XX ringgit can.

Blah, that's about it. I was tired out by the time everything was done by 4. And when I reached the office I still needed to type more stuff...

Well, at least I know how it feels to work, right?

Week 4;

Yup it's week four already!

January is coming to an end, I can't believe it.
Went to PD over the weekend :) Stayed at the Legend water chalet, very interesting and nice. A comfortable getaway from the hustle of city life.

Work today was alright, and btw I had one of the greatest sleeps of my life cause I just slept all the way 'cept when I needed to use the loo. and damn I hated it when my alarm rang :(

Had loads coming in to me today, and I dont know if I've mentioned it before, but I've finally got my own client, haha. Of course, we work in a team so I'm the most junior and I don't know what to do so basically I'm just cleaning up the senior's "mess". Or rather, doing the background work like certifying passports.

On the contrary, I'm excited for this weekend. I'm flying off, somewhere.

And for next week too. I'm turning 22. Oh gawd.

I want a wonderful, memorable, enjoyable, and grand birthday party, with all my great friends.

And that's what I will get.

The week flew by, I barely realised it.
Final day of training, thank goodness. Despite the fact I'm just sitting down listening to the managers talk about tax tax tax I find I'm more exhausted than when I'm actually doing my work.

And I've been drinking coffee twice a day because of the tea breaks.

Sigh.

Tomorrow's Friday =)

Never ever take a 7pm nap unless you're planning to sleep at 1am that night itself.
I took a nap yesterday and couldnt sleep till 1. And as a result, I am so super tired today and feel like napping again but I'm just preventing myself from going for it.

Today was a training session to learn about tax and what my department really does. So hopefully in time I will be doing more things other than translating and typing letters, haha.

That was supposed to be posted yesterday but I probably wasn't thinking straight from exhaustion.

Anyway, training session part 2 continued today. And then my colleague came by with a phone call from another colleague asking me to translate the malay letters into english again.

Like, wtf... english to malay, and to english again?

Was late for training by one hour. By the time I went in, they were having tea breaks and the managers were asking me why I was late.

Sigh. Explained that I had to do translation and they said oh next time you need to inform the managers..
"But Mus told me that she'll tell you that I'm exempted for an hour!"

"no.. we didn't get anything from her"

"Oh well, sorry."

"oh, it's fine :)"

I'm liked at EY partly for my translating skills. Not saying that it's a bad thing, haha. Gee, if that's the case maybe I should just work as a translator =)

I was also asked to certify some documents from the Commissioner of Oaths today. Sighs, had to use my own RM 40 to pay for it. Though, I can claim for it so thank goodness.

I spent 6 hours doing more translating again today. Looking at the same documents for the same few people that I have to write the document about for 6 freaking hours. Geez, and time flew like nobody's business. I likey though, cause that would mean that I do not need to keep on waiting for time to pass =|

Feel like going out, but I'm so tired =(
